Yaris - AFC Mobile Movie Competition 2006

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

AWARDS:

 

Financial awards only for mobile movies shot in Jordan. Other films can qualify for special mentions:

• FIRST PRIZE: 1000 JOD.
• SECOND PRIZE: 500 JOD
• THIRD PLACE: 300 JOD
• OTHER PRIZES: Six (6) prizes 200 JD each, for mobile movies shot in Jordan.
• Special Mention Awards for mobile movies shot outside of Jordan showing special talent.

DATES:

• Movie Competition Period: MAY 1, 2007 - AUG 15, 2007
• Awards Announcement: AUG 30, 2007

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Maximum Video File Size: 2 MB.
• Maximum Movie Length: 60 seconds.

COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Competition movies must be shot in Jordan.
• The movie must not have been shown anywhere else or uploaded on any website before the competition results are announced.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• No entry fee.
• The filmmaker cannot cancel a submission once a movie is submitted.
• The filmmaker is legally responsible for the content of the submitted movie.
• A filmmaker may submit many films, but only one award will be given in event of winning. 
• The sender must be the author of the movie.
• Language of movie is Arabic, if there is dialog or text.
• The content must be suited for family viewing and for people of all ages.
• No anonymous movie submissions will be accepted.
• Participating filmmaker agrees that the Amman Filmmakers Cooperative can show the wining movies and those receiving special mentions for 2 years after submission and in any format or event, for no charge.
